Covid 19 updates

These are strange times with COVID 19 / Corona virus causing travel problems for tourism around the world – rest assured, you’re not going to lose your deposit.

In regards to our brochure published cancellation policy for 2020 on
page 15.

Cancellation Policy:  90% refund if written notice is given 180 days
prior to your vacation. 70% refund if written notice is given 120 days
prior to your vacation.  If you need to change the dates or destination
during the same calendar year (2020), 100% of your deposit will transfer
to your new trip.  If you need to wait until the next calendar year, and
are closer than the 120 days notice (making it unlikely for us to be
able to re-book the trip), 50% of your initial deposit will be available
during the next two calendar years (2021/2022).

At this point for 2020, we continue to be full blast ahead preparing and
planning for all guests who have reserved packages to be able to make
their trip.  We’re servicing aircraft $$$, buying boat motors $$$,
paying insurance and utilities $$$, hiring staff $$$, etc etc etc $$$  –
We’re planning on ALL of our reserved guests physically being able to
make it to our location to do the trip.

COVID 19 UPDATE to cancellation policy.  If you physically can’t
make it to our location because of travel restrictions OR if the government requires us to suspend operations, we both understand that the issue is beyond either of our controls.  In this circumstance, 100% of your deposit would be made available for ANY future trip with Air Ivanhoe.
